Japanese stock market fell in early trading Monday, with the weakening of commodity prices and the yen moves up tradedbefore. The Nikkei average index fell 0.8% to as low as 9,576.73 inearly trade, and own Topix index fell 0.8% to as low as 833.61. Alongwith the dollars that move closer to the level of As 80's, stocks thatare sensitive to currency movements lose power, with technologystocks hit strongly by the fall in the Nasdaq Composite. Shares ofSharp Corp.. traded down 2.4%, Elpida Memory Inc fell 3.9% and
Toyota Motor Corp. fell 1.3%. However, shares of Sony Corp. rose0.4% related to the news that the PlayStation Network will handle theattacks against network piracy to customer data. The shares of the resources sector also generally weaker, in line with JFE HoldingsInc. slumped 1.9% and Inpex Corp. fell 1.7%.
